Sullivan, Oak Grove Seeking Deal To Bring Signalization To Overpass
It very well could be the most dangerous intersection in Sullivan and actions by the Sullivan City Council, Oak Grove Village and Missouri Department of Transportation could make it much safer.
The Sullivan City Council was scheduled to meet on Tuesday, November 20, with a full agenda that included a vote on proposed bill 3825, sponsored by Aldermen T.J. Carey and Jason Alexander, that would approve a 50/50 cost share agreement with Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission for signalization of I-44 North Outer Road at Exit 226 and signalization of off ramps at a total project cost of $1,084,000 with the City of Sullivan and Oak Grove Village paying $542,000.
