Sullivan McDonald’s Lobby Closed For Remodel

This past week, customers of Sullivan McDonald’s, 6 South Service Road West, were prevented from utilizing the inside dining of the local franchise as a new modernized remodel began. 

The construction began on Monday, February 17, and is expected to conclude with a new opening on March 13.

During the construction phase of the remodel, the drive thru services will remain open 24 hours a day and seven days a week, according to Mickey Avery, owner/operator.

According to Avery, the last remodel at the Sullivan location was completed on December 3, 2009 and the franchise often has a remodel every 10 years.

The new remodel will feature self-service kiosks, table service, and modern decor among many new additions, as well as new payment options that will include Apple/Andriod Pay, new mobile order and pay options and with electronic table top games.

“We’re excited to share this evolved experience at McDonald’s with our customers,” said Avery. “We appreciate and value our guests, and we’re looking forward to providing them a new way to dine at McDonald’s.”

According to Avery, the restaurant team in Sullivan is placing a higher emphasis on hospitality by focusing on greeting customers, assisting with new technology and ensuring a clean, warming environment. McDonald’s is putting more choice and control in the hands of guests by improving how they order, what they order, how they pay and how they are served.

Avery expressed her appreciation to the businesses valued customers for their support and understanding during the remodeling time.
