Sullivan Man Killed In Overnight Crash

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a man was fatally injured in an overnight crash on Interstate 44 at the 225 mile marker in Sullivan.

Robert Wright, 46, was traveling eastbound in a 2004 Ford F250 when he traveled off the left side of the roadway, returned and over-corrected.

The vehicle went off the right side of the roadway, struck a sign and overturned.

Wright was pronounced dead at the scene at 2:15 a.m.

He was not wearing a seat belt.
