Sullivan Man Injured In Accident Sunday

A 28-year-old Sullivan man received minor injuries following a single vehicle accident Sunday, August 2, on Route N at Holtwick Trail, Franklin County.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol the accident occurred at 9:15 a.m. when Amanda G. Specking, 27, Grubville, operating a southbound 2002 Ford Ranger to fast for wet road conditions, lost control of the vehicle and traveled off the left side of the roadway causing the vehicle to overturn.

Specking and a passenger, Anthony W. Specking, 28, Sullivan, both sustained minor injuries and were transported by Washington Ambulance to Mercy Hospital, Washington, for treatment.

The patrol reported extensive damages to the Ford Ranger and both parties were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the accident.
