Sullivan Man Arrested Following Pursuit

A Sullivan man was arrested Friday night after he led Crawford County Sheriff’s deputies and Bourbon police on a pursuit.
Jerry King, Jr., 51, has been taken into custody.
The sheriff’s office said that around 9 p.m., deputies assisted police after King allegedly failed to yield to officers. The pursuit entered the sheriff’s department venue and traveled several county roads in the Bourbon area at a high rate of speed.
King ran off the roadway and the crash disabled his vehicle. He allegedly tried fleeing into a wooded area, but after a short foot pursuit, was arrested.
King has an active warrant from probation and parole.
Charges will be sought.
