Sullivan Independence Day Celebration Tuesday July 4

The City of Sullivan Independence Day celebration will be held on Tuesday, July 4, Sullivan Fairgrounds Park, opening at 3 p.m. for Sullivan Chamber of Commerce craft and food vendors with a full evening of activity.

According to the Sullivan Chamber of Commerce, ceremony events will begin at 7:30 p.m. as Sullivan VFW Post 3987 will have a patriotic parade entering the fairgrounds to the main stage where patriotic ceremonies will be held prior to the fireworks festivities at 9:15 p.m. or just after sundown.

This years event is once again sponsored and made possible through the donations from West Brothers Sullivan Superstore, First State Community Bank and City of Sullivan.

Families, as in years past, are invited to come out and spend the day at the fairgrounds, to capture their perfect site to view the fireworks and activities.
