Sullivan Bridal Expo A Success At Heartland Farms Sunday
The annual Sullivan Chamber of Commerce Bridal Expo 2019 was held at Heartland Farms, 8289 North Service Road East, Bourbon, on Sunday, January 27, from 12 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. with nearly 350 people in attendance that included 95 future brides and 251 guests.
The event pre-registration had over 135 brides registered, but winter weather to the west of the area in Rolla/Phelps County, is believed to have held some brides from attending.
Heartland Farms quickly filled with the 350 in attendance visiting the 24 vendors participating in the annual event.
“I think the event went very well this year,” said Shawna Speaks, Chamber Director. “I again think the attendance was down just a little but due to the winter weather to the west of us but overall it was a great success once again.”
Speaks stated that the event has grown more and more through the years and the vendors were pleased once again with the turnout and overall event.
“The vendors provided some great feedback and again were pleased with the event in 2019,” said Sparks.
Mimi’s Bridal & Boutique held their Bridal Stage Show at 2 p.m. that had the Heartland Farms main room filled to capacity as models graced the lighted stage, provided by Wright Party Rental & Design, with music by Hysteria Sound and bouquets courtesy of Petals and Plants, Sullivan.
The 2019 Bridal Show committee worked very hard to bring the event to a rousing success once again. Serving on the committee for 2019 was: Victoria DeLeo,Mimi’s Bridal; Amy DeLeo, Mimi’s Bridal; Paula Lang, Sullivan Chamber; Nicole Oerman, Sullivan Chamber; Shawna Speaks, Chamber Director and Chamber President Natalie Parks.
