Steelville Man Charged With Child Pornography Possession

A warrant was served Tuesday against a Steelville man who allegedly produced “child erotica” and distributed it on the Internet.
The man was allegedly in possession of nearly 4,000 videos or images of child pornography.
He has been charged with one count of possession and he appeared in court Sept. 9.
According to the probable cause statement, the suspect has “placed himself in positions of trust as a confidant for juvenile children in this community as well as in other states for employment.”
