SHS All-District Choir Selections

The Sullivan High School Choral department had 11 students selected to the East Central District All district choir. These students traveled to Hillsboro in September where they had to sing an Italian aria for a blind panel of judges. They then were asked key signatures and to sing a melodic and harmonic sight reading example, music they have never seen before. Of these 11 students, 8 had high enough scores to qualify to audition for the All State Choir. These eight were Stephen Casey, Donovan Counts, Noah Gassner, Hanna Johanning, Destiny Martinez, Wyatt Medlock, Evan Podner, and Samantha Record. All-State qualifiers auditioned on Saturday, November 16 where two were selected into the All-State Choir, Evan Podner (tenor) and Samantha Record (alto).
