Rise Of Illegal Gambling Devices Subject Of House Hearing Oct. 10

Machines found locally in convenience stores

Many local convenience stores are starting to look like casinos in St. Louis and Kansas City. 

Video gambling machines are quickly becoming more accessible than a fountain Coke or Pepsi, which is starting to sound an alarm in Jefferson City. 

Missouri lawmakers will take a look at this industry that is pushing its way through the state, similar to the CBD industry, which is now found in every store.

The alarm sounding is by the Missouri Lottery Commission, which announced recently that these machines may have diverted some $50 million form the state lottery and may be cutting into the profits of casinos.
