Resident Bit By Loose “Pit-Type” Dog Saturday
The Sullivan Independent News received an email over the weekend from a resident who reported that he was bitten while traveling on a “long board,” in the East Washington neighborhood, Saturday afternoon, July 29, prompting him to seek medical attention that could result in a series of shots should the dog not be identified.
Sullivan Police have asked that anyone with information on the owner or location of this dog to please contact them at 573-468-8001.
Sullivan City Administrator J.T. Hardy was asked about city code regarding animals running at large and animals considered, “dangerous.”
