Prescription Drug Take Back Day April 28

The Bourbon Police Department and Franklin County police departments will hold a Prescription Drug Take Back Day April 28.

Residents can bring their pills for disposal to departments in Sullivan, Union and Washington. The service is free and anonymous with no questions asked. The Bourbon Police Department will hold a drug take back at Paramount Apparel, located at #1 Paramount Drive.

All departments will hold the event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

Officers will be on hand to collect unused or outdated prescription. The PAi Employee Involvement Committee will have a brown bag lunch and beverages for sale. Proceeds will be donated to the local Special Olympics organization.

The Drug Enforcement Agency cannot accept liquids, needles or sharps. Only pills or patches are allowed.
