Police: Woman Stabbed Victim In Stomach During Altercation At Motel

Police arrested a Cuba woman on May 5 after she allegedly stabbed a female victim during an altercation at a motel.
The woman has been charged with first-degree domestic assault and armed criminal action.
She is being held on a $500,000 bond.
The victim was described in the probable cause statement as having a life-threatening injury. She was transported via helicopter for treatment.
A witness said the suspect became angry because he was ending a relationship with her. The witness said he told the suspect he was now with the victim.
