Police Investigating Burglaries To Area Churches

The Sullivan Police Department is investigating three burglaries to area churches, one of which occurred at St. Anthony Catholic School early Friday and forced a closure.
Police said the first occurred late Tuesday or early Wednesday at First Assembly of God at 951 Elmont Road.
The second and third burglaries occurred early Friday at Temple Baptist Church and St. Anthony.
Police said in each incident, a burglar used a rock to break out a window and gain access into the buildings.
