Peace Of Mind Owner Files Lawsuit Over July 2018 Raid Of Store

Scott Arnold Micke, co-owner of Peace of Mind in Sullivan, has filed a lawsuit against the Sullivan Police Department, Missouri State Highway Patrol, Franklin County Sheriff's Office, Multi-County Narcotics and Violent Enforcement Unit and other individuals involved in a July 2018 raid of his store.

The lawsuit was filed in the Eastern District of Missouri.

Micke is seeking damages for the incident. One Class A felony charge for distribution of a controlled substance was filed by former Franklin County Prosecuting Attorney Robert Parks, who is named in Micke's lawsuit.

It was dismissed by Judge Stanley Wiliams in July 2019. 

Current Prosecuting Attorney Matthew Becker, Det. Ralph Finn of the sheriff's department and another detective also are named in the suit.
