More Than 120 Participants In Turkey Trot Thursday

The first-ever 5K Turkey Trot in Sullivan, brought to you by Sullivan Anytime Fitness to benefit Sullivan Special Olympics, is scheduled for Thursday, with over 120 runners participating and additional entries expected.

The registration fee is now $35 up to event day on Thanksgiving morning.

The route will take runners from Anytime Fitness on a journey through Sullivan into the downtown area and return to Anytime Fitness for the conclusion, see trot map on page 2A.

Maggie Heidbrink asked that the public be alert for the runners/participants on Thanksgiving morning at 8 a.m., with everything expected to be concluded on the City of Sullivan streets well before 10 a.m.
