Memorial Weekend House Fire Under Investigation
For the second time in two weeks, a vacant house has been lost to fire in the Sullivan Fire Protection District.
A May 23 fire destroyed a home at 310 Highway WW. The first vacant home destroyed by fire occurred on Saturday, May 9, at 845 North Service Rd. East.
Sullivan firefighters responded to 310 Highway WW at 12:06 p.m. and while en route to the residential structure fire, were informed by Washington County Dispatch that flames were through the roof and building was totally involved in fire.
