Man Found Dead In Vehicle At Former Burger King Parking Lot

Update: Franklin County Sheriff Steven Pelton confirmed Tuesday that a white male was found deceased in a vehicle at the former Burger King parking lot in Oak Grove Village. 

Pelton said the vehicle was stolen. The scene remains under active investigation. There has been no word yet on whether foul play is suspected.

Shortly after 5 p.m. Tuesday, authorities were dispatched to the former Burger King in Oak Grove Village for a report of a possibly deceased individual in a vehicle.

Sullivan Police are assisting the Franklin County Sheriff's Office, which has secured the scene.
