Man Arrested With Over $8,000 In Cash, Baggies, Scales, Alleged Methamphetamine
Sullivan Police conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle on Tuesday, Oct. 17, in the Walgreen’s parking lot, 6 East Springfield, at 10:16 p.m. that led to the recovery of more than $8,000 in cash, baggies, scales and suspected methamphetamine.
The incident began when officers conducted a traffic stop on a Oldsmobile, registered to an owner from Jefferson City but displayed license plates from a 2002 Jeep, registered from Cuba.
Officers spoke with two occupants of the vehicle and placed them both in custody, then conducted a search of the vehicle where they located the cash, baggies-for suspected drug sale and weight scales also to weigh suspected drug product for sale.
