Man Arrested For Domestic Assault

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man June 17 after a female victim accused him of assaulting her.
Michael Duncan, 39, Villa Ridge, faces one count of third-degree domestic assault. Bond was set at $15,000.
Deputies responded to the 500 block of Court Dorothy in Villa Ridge to check on the well-being of a female subject. The female had noticeable marks and bruises consistent with assault. She said the assault occurred three days earlier, but she was scared to notify authorities and accused Duncan of breaking her phone.
Duncan was identified as a suspect and later placed under arrest.
