Labadie Man Killed, Juvenile Seriously Injured Saturday

A Labadie man was killed and a juvenile seriously injured Saturday in an ATV accident in Washington County.
Brad Maassen, 40, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 10-year-old juvenile was flown to St. Louis by Life Flight helicopter.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the accident occurred on Woodland Drive around 5:30 p.m. Maassen was operating a 2019 Can Am Outlander when he traveled off the right side of the road, struck a tree and overturned.
Maassen and the passenger were ejected.
He was not wearing a safety device. The highway patrol said the juvenile was.
