Jim Butler Chevrolet, Santa Claus to Deliver 1,000 Bikes to Kids in Need
Santa Claus will assist Jim Butler Chevrolet in delivering over 1,000 bicycles from the dealership to the Bikes for Tykes/Toys for Tots collection site in Gravois Bluffs. Santa and a host of volunteers will travel via a caravan of new Jim Butler Chevy Silverado trucks loaded with the new bikes on Friday, December 13 beginning at 4 p.m. at Jim Butler Chevrolet, 759 Gravois Bluffs Blvd., Fenton, MO 63026.
By providing bikes to kids in need, Bikes for Tykes empowers children, fights childhood obesity and reduces our environmental impact. Children with bicycles learn true independence, self-reliance, self-esteem and a foundation for a healthy lifestyle. While a bike can be a catalyst for positive life choices, they can also be expensive for lower-income families. Bikes for Tykes helps remove the financial barrier by collecting new bikes for kids.
Jim Butler Chevrolet has partnered with Bikes for Tykes/Toys for Tots for the holidays to champion a children’s bicycle drive. For every car or truck purchased through December 14, Jim Butler will donate one new bike to Bikes for Tykes. Jim Butler has also been collecting additional new bikes from the community at their Fenton Chevrolet dealership. They are on track to surpass their goal of 1,000 bikes donated. This Friday, Jim Butler will still be collecting bikes with a little help from Santa—and rolling into the weekend’s main event in style. Santa and the Jim Butler team will be parading the bikes loaded into brand new Chevy trucks from Jim Butler to the Bikes for Tykes event in Gravois Bluffs across from the dealership.
