House Of Hope Under Construction In Former Radio Shack Facility

Carl and Richelle Duff are looking to reach out to the streets and help give a hand up, a hand of Jesus to those searching for a way to a better life with their ministry to open in Sullivan, House Of Hope Sullivan, is currently under construction in Sullivan along North Clark Street in the former Radio Shack building.

Since the church obtained the property in December, rumors have swirled in the local community that the facility was going to be a homeless shelter, but according to Duff that is not the case.

“We will not be housing people here in this facility; we will have an assembly/sanctuary in the front of the building and a food bank in the rear of the facility,” said Duff. “We are here to give a hand up to people, help them get jobs and provide biblical counsel. We want to help people get in the right direction as there are so many hurting in the area.”
