Halo’s 8th Annual Dinner’s On!
Tickets are selling fast for the annual dinner and auction that benefits Halo for Animals. For the eighth year, local restaurants offer dinner guests samples of their specialties, and area businesses donate items for silent auction shopping. A special treat this year is that Grammy award–winning, multi-platinum and gold artist Bryan White will take the stage after dinner for an acoustic show. His hits include ‘Someone Else’s Star’, ‘Rebecca Lynn’, ‘I’m Not Supposed To Love You Anymore’, and ‘From This Moment On’ with Shania Twain.
Doors open at the Large Eagles Hall, 1000 Acid Mine Road, in Sullivan on Saturday, Aug. 26 at 5:00pm. Dinner is from 5:30-6:30pm and the silent auctions end when the Bryan White concert starts at 7pm. Halo president Lori Rego said, “We are excited to be able to bring Bryan White to our event. We couldn’t have done it without the support of sponsors Ace Manufacturing & Parts Co and Sullivan Veterinary Hospital along with sound provided by Hysteria Sound.”
As of late July, 11 area restaurants are confirmed for the dinner. Try favorite menu items from Washington’s St. Louis Bread Company and Leasburg’s Belmont Winery. Sullivan participants include Boomers Sports Bar and Grill, 1 More Pub & Grub, Fricks Market, Los Cabos, Applebee’s, Meats & Eats, Clark Street Café & Bakery, Denny’s and Our Story Coffee House & Home Store. More restaurants may be added.
Tickets, $30, may be purchased at the Sullivan Area Chamber of Commerce, Sullivan Orscheln, and Sullivan Veterinary Hospital. Paypal and online credit card ticket purchases may be made through Halo’s website – www.haloforanimals.com. There are a limited number of tickets available.

Halo for Animals is a 501©(3) organization that promotes and networks for adoption from the City of Sullivan’s animal control facility. All money raised is used for the spay/neuter program for pets adopted from the pound, medical expenses, and for items that will make the pets more comfortable while they wait for new homes.
