Girl Injured In Accident

One person was injured in an accident on Highway 19 Wednesday.
Rachael Koepke, 9, Cuba, was the passenger in a 2010 Ford Explorer driven by Adam Koepke, 17, Cuba.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said Adam Koepke swerved to avoid another vehicle attempting to make a turn. He lost control on the rain-slicked highway and collided with a culvert.
Rachael Koepke had moderate injuries and the highway patrol said she would seek her own treatment.
Adam Koepke was uninjured. Both occupants were wearing seat belts.
