Frick’s Hit In Late Night Smash And Grab
Frick’s Central Market, 45 North Clark Street, was targeted in a, “smash and grab,” burglary late Saturday, Oct. 14, according to Sullivan Police.
Officers responded to a burglary alarm at 11:22 p.m. Saturday and arrived at the business to find that the front glass had been broken out.
Inside the store, a thief or thieves targeted alcohol and cigarettes in the theft.
According to Sullivan Police, an undetermined amount of items were appropriated at press time and the damage to the window was estimated at $700.
Sullivan Police reported that the business was targeted in this fashion nearly a year ago for the same type of incident.
It is not known at this time if the two thefts were related or if this event is connected to three recent church burglaries reported in the Oct. 11, 2017 edition of the Sullivan Independent News.
