Franklin, Washington Counties Tally Sullivan School

Unofficial results have been released for the Sullivan School Board election held on Tuesday.

In Franklin County, Randy Stack and Robby Berti were the top two vote-getters. Stack received 199 votes, Berti 188 and Cliff Dudley 172. 

There were 21 voters in Washington County and Stack led with 10 votes. Dudley received six and Berti five.

Results are not yet available in Crawford County.

City of Sullivan

The city of Sullivan did not have any contested elections.

Mayor Dennis Watz received 157 votes and there were five write-ins.

Municipal Judge Dan Leslie received 157 votes with one write-in.

City Collector Judy McPherson had 151 votes with eight write-ins.

Ward 1 Alderman Tony Wessler received 68 votes, Ward 2 Alderman TJ Carey had 70 votes and Ward 3 Alderman Bobby Maupin had 25 votes against one write-in.

Village of Miramiguoa

In the village of Miramiguoa, voters were posed a real property tax measure.

By a 19-14 count, voters approved imposing a local annual real property tax at 50 cents per $100 of real property value upon all real property within the village. The revenue will be allocated to the general fund.

In the race for trustee, Michael Schinner received 26 votes to Carl Pritchett’s 23 votes.
