Four Businesses Targeted In Early Morning Burglaries
Four local businesses were targeted in burglaries early Saturday, March 24, in which law enforcement believes juvenile suspects were involved.
The burglary prompted one business to call it quits after being targeted multiple times in the last year by thieves.
Sullivan Police Lt. Pat Johnson indicated Monday that officers were interviewing several juveniles in connection with the weekend burglaries.
“We strongly believe that these incidents are juvenile related and we want to take this time to remind juveniles and their parents or guardians that we will be enforcing the city curfew ordinances and if a juvenile is caught out after curfew they will be brought to our headquarters, their parents or guardians contacted to pick them up and they will be subject to municipal citations,” said Johnson.
