Filing For City Office Opens December 15

Filing for five city offices will open on Tuesday, December 15, and conclude on January 19, at 5 p.m.
Sullivan City Clerk Jan Koch announced Tuesday, November 17, that filing for the offices of Mayor, Dennis Watz, Collector, Judy McPherson, Alderman Ward One, Tony Wessler, Ward Two, a vacated seat following the resignation of T.J. Carey who moved outside the City of Sullivan, and Ward Three Robert “Bobby” Maupin, will be open for the April 6, 2021 Municipal Election.
The four incumbents have not announced at this time whether they will seek re-election.
