El Paso Man Seriously Injured In Accident

An El Paso, Texas man was seriously injured Wednesday when his tractor trailer overturned on Interstate 44 at the 228 mile-marker.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Philip Davoust, 60, was flown to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis.
The highway patrol said a 2018 Freightliner driven by Uzeir Salaka, 58, Manchester, N.H., failed to yield to Davoust. Salaka's tractor trailer merged into the left lane, striking Davoust's vehicle. Davoust lost control of his vehicle, went off the right side of the road and overturned.
It is unknown if he was wearing a safety device.
