Cuba Man Charged With Assaulting Child

Police arrested a Cuba man Jan. 24 after he allegedly assaulted a child.
The victim was observed with blood on the face coming from the nose and cheek areas.
The suspect has been charged with abuse or neglect of a child.
He has been released from the Crawford County Jail on bond.
The suspect allegedly dragged the victim off a bed by the shirt, bit the victim’s cheek, punched them in the nose multiple times, rolled the victim over and smacked them multiple more times in the face.
When police met with the suspect, he allegedly smelled like alcohol.
