Crawford County voters retained two incumbents Tuesday night, chose Darren Dake in the race for coroner and rejected Medicaid expansion.

In the race for District 1 Commissioner, Rob Cummings received 57 percent of the vote to challenger Richard Martin.

Cummings is unopposed in November and will likely enter his second term as commissioner in January.

The only other race was for the open coroner’s seat. Deputy Coroner Darren Dake received 66 percent of the vote against Renee Ross.

Dake will likely succeed Paul Hutson in January.

County voters rejected Medicaid expansion, with 67 percent voting no.

Brandi Baird received 22 percent, Kristopher Crews 20 percent, Mike Randazzo 18 percent and Christopher Piatt 12 percent.
