Couple Removed From Park Restroom

Sullivan Police were called to 525 Fisher Drive, Sullivan Swimming Pool Complex, after receiving a report that two people were locked in a restroom.

Officers responded to the restrooms, located on the exterior of the Sullivan Swimming Pool Complex to find two people had been sleeping overnight in the restrooms.

Officers determined that the couple was homeless and informed them that they would not be allowed to use the facility as a residence and would be trespassed from the park area.

According to police, the department has been receiving more reports similar to this involving homeless transients.
