Councilman Concerned Over Air Ambulance Flight Pattern

Alderman Paul McCulloch informed the Sullivan City Council Jan. 2 that he has received some phone calls about the flight path of the Air Evac Ambulance Service, located next to Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital.

McCulloch reported that when Planning and Zoning approved a conditional use permit for Air Evac, it was to be in harmony with the area.

McCulloch commented that he had contacted Air Evac about their flight path, which has recently been going over residential areas. McCulloch added that Air Evac has also purchased a more powerful new helicopter, which more than likely, results in more noise disturbances.

McCulloch asked city staff to review Planning and Zoning minutes to see about the flight path that was agreed upon.
