Council Approves Sale Of Library To School District
The Sullivan City Council, in a 4-1 vote, approved the sale of the former Sullivan Library facility and property to the Sullivan School District on Tuesday.
The city council met in open session where they approved Ordinance 3801, which approved the sale in the amount of $186,000, the appraised value. The vote went Aldermen Bobby Maupin, Mark Dalton, Tony Wessler and Jason Alexander, yes and Alderman T.J. Carey no. Alderman Paul McCulloch was unable to attend the meeting Tuesday.
