City Officially Parts Ways With Chief

The Bourbon Board of Aldermen made it official March 2 when they voted 4-0 to terminate Paul Satterfield as police chief.
Satterfield had been serving an unpaid suspension since January 27. The matter was set to be resolved by mid-February, but Satterfield and attorney Mark Wenner did not receive a formal letter by the city until later in the month.
