Chick-Fil-A Coming To Sullivan? Facebook Page Arouses Excitement, Suspicion

The Sullivan Independent News began receiving multiple calls and messages on Tuesday, March 23, regarding a Facebook page announcing that Chick-Fil-A was coming to Sullivan. 

The Facebook page is titled "Chick-Fil-A Sullivan, Missouri," which was created on Sunday, March 21.

"Something big is coming, and it smells delightful. New location coming soon, and it may be near you. Sullivan, Missouri, come see us!" the page announced.

City officials in Sullivan and Oak Grove said they were not aware of a pending location in Sullivan, though it didn't necessarily mean no restaurant was coming.

The Independent News contacted the corporate office by phone and email. Chick-Fil-A offered a return call, but no follow-up had been made as of press time Monday.

The Chick-fil-A Sullivan, Missouri page offers no contact information, though it uses a company logo, food promotional product and answers requests for comment.
