Bourbon Won't Be In Session Aug. 21

The Crawford County R-1 School District will not be in session on Monday, Aug. 21 during the solar eclipse.

In a statement on Facebook, the district said they feel the decision is safest for students and staff. "Teachers will be sharing information the upcoming eclipse during instruction prior to the event," the statement said. 

Bourbon joins other districts, including Sullivan, in canceling classes.
