Bourbon Man Tased Following Traffic Stop Saturday Morning

A 53-year-old Bourbon man was tased by Sullivan Police following a traffic stop at 2:53 a.m. in the 400 block of Maple Street Saturday, Dec. 30.
According to Sullivan Police, officers stopped a 2006 Hyundai, occupied by five individuals, for a traffic violation. When officers began identifying the individuals in the vehicle a white male, 53, Bourbon, exited the vehicle and attempted to flee officers at which time officers ordered the suspect to stop and after failing to comply the individual was tased and taken into custody.
