Bourbon Man Arrested, Charged In Burglary

A Bourbon man was arrested Wednesday after Max -- Crawford County's K-9 -- tracked him down following a burglary.

Keven Blum, 48, has been charged with second-degree burglary.

Blum allegedly broke into a home on Landers Road and stole miscellaneous items like a phone charger, headphones, a lighter, chewing gum and Kool-Aid packets.

According to the probable cause statement, the victim had been away from her residence for several days and returned to find that her home had been ransacked with several items missing.

The backdoor had been damaged and showed signs of a forced entry.

While the owner waited for a sheriff's deputy to arrive, she noticed Blum hiding in the woods.

Before the deputy could arrive, Blum allegedly left the area.

Max was brought on scene to assist and took deputies to Blum, who was located on the North Service Road near the Sullivan city limits.
