BJC Staff Begin Receiving COVID-19 Vaccines

Staff at Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital began receiving the COVID-19 vaccine on Thursday.
It comes as a relief to Dr. Thomas Jackson, the chief of staff at the hospital. Jackson said the vaccine from Pfizer-BioNTech is not mandatory since it received an emergency authorization from the Food and Drug Administration.
It was recommended that staffers receive the vaccine, especially older ones who are more vulnerable to COVID-19.
