Sullivan Advances To Peoples Bank Holiday Classic Title Game
Update:
Sullivan will play for the Peoples Bank Holiday Classic championship Friday at 8:30 p.m. against No. 2 seed Rock Bridge. The Lady Eagles defeated St. James 35-22 on Wednesday in the semifinals.
Sullivan (8-0) is seeking their first Holiday Classic title since 2012. Mallory Shetley had 12 points and Bria Jones had nine, including her 1,000th career point. Jones will be honored before the game Friday night.
Owensville 59, Northwest 49
Breanna Diestelkamp scored 35 points for the Dutchgirls, who picked up their first win of the season.
Salem 50, Cuba 48
Baylee Bilyeu led with 19 points to push Salem into the consolation final against Owensville. Cuba and Northwest play for seventh-place at 4 p.m., followed by Salem and Owensville at 5:30 p.m.
Rock Bridge 43, Helias 32
Payton McAllister paced Rock Bridge with 17 points, Eryn Puett chipped in 10 and Rock Bridge (5-1) advanced to the championship game against Sullivan.

Sullivan defeated Northwest 54-13 on Monday in the first round of the Peoples Bank Holiday Classic.
The Lady Eagles (7-0) will play St. James Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the semifinal. Bria Jones led all scorers with 19 points. Clare Shetley had 12 points and six rebounds. Mallory Shetley finished with eight points, three rebounds, four assists and four steals. Sophie Sellers scored five points, but added 10 rebounds.
Katie Creek scored four points and both Lauren Hoffman and Hanna Johanning finished with three.
Sullivan led 35-3 at the half. They held Northwest scoreless in the first quarter.
St. James 46, Owensville 34
Ashlyn Rinehart had 16 points and Mikaela Donnelly finished with 10 in St. James' win over Owensville in the four-five seed game.
Rock Bridge 75, Salem 29
Helias 65, Cuba 25
No. 2 Rock Bridge faces No. 3 Helias Wednesday in the semifinal.
