Woman Drowns In Gasconade River
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a St. Robert woman drowned in the Gasconade River July 26, the second time this year a victim perished there.
Dorca I. Reyes-DeLeon, 35, was attempting to cross the waterway around 7:56 p.m. when she became submerged and did not resurface. Her body was recovered by the Missouri State Highway Patrol drive team and pronounced dead at the scene around 12:40 a.m.
Reyes-DeLeon is the seventh water fatality for Troop I in 2017. A St. Robert man attempted to swim across the Gasconade River back on June 16 when he became submerged and didn’t resurface.
