Two Have Minor Injuries In Accident On Highway 8

Two Steelville residents have minor injuries after skidding into a tractor trailer Tuesday on Highway 8.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the accident occurred six miles east of Steelville around 7:20 p.m.

A 1994 Ford Ranger driven by Joshua B. Toth, 34, struck the rear of a 2010 Freightliner driven by Mark White, 49, Dalton, Ga.

Toth and Rachel Radel, 29, had minor injuries. Toth sought his own medical treatment. He was not wearing a seat belt. 

Radel was taken to Washington County Hospital for treatment. She was wearing a seat belt.

Toth’s vehicle received extensive damage.
