Task Force, Sheriff’s Department Seize Drugs, Cash From County Residence
A joint investigation by the Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group and the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department on November 15 resulted in the seizure of numerous drugs and cash from a Cherryville residence.
Scott Radford, 33, Cuba, is charged with two counts of delivery of a controlled substance. Radford’s bond has been set at $25,000.
The probable cause statement says the two agencies executed a drug-relates search warrant on Highway 49 and recovered:
-57.5 grams of methamphetamine;
-2 grams of heroin;
-91 tablets identified as alprazolam
-Suboxone strip used to combat heroin/opiate addiction, which is a Schedule III controlled substance;
-One bag of packaged marijuana; and
Various drug paraphernalia and other items. Authorities also recovered $1,125 in cash that was located in Radford’s wallet.
Radford also allegedly advised authorities where two methamphetamine pipes were located.
Radford has previously been convicted of burglary, possession of a controlled substance and distribution of a controlled substance. He served 120 days shock time in 2013.
