Statutory Rape Charges Filed Against Bourbon Man
Charges have been filed against a Bourbon man after being accused of having sexual intercourse with an adolescent female victim on three separate occasions.
Noah Hayes, 51, is charged with statutory rape of a victim younger than 12-years-old and statutory rape or attempted statutory rape with a victim younger than 14-years-old.
Hayes is being held on a $175,000 bond.
The Crawford County Sheriff’s Department began investigating May 19, when the victim was 13. During the interview, Hayes allegedly had sexual intercourse ranging from January 2017 to approximately two years prior.
A warrant was issued for Hayes’ arrest on Tuesday and he appeared in court Friday. He is scheduled to appear in court again Friday, Oct. 13.
