School Board Seeking New Member Following Resignation

The Bourbon School Board is seeking a new member and will hold a special session Tuesday, June 5 at 6 p.m. to interview interested candidates.

Scott Blue, who was first elected in 2014, announced in April that he would be resigning from the board due to a job offer outside the district. The school board announced Thursday that Blue's resignation will be effective May 28. 

Interested parties should contact the central office at 573-732-4426 for more questions and fill out an application. The board will take applications until June 1. Applications can be be obtained on the district webpage www.warhawks.k12.mo.us or may be picked up in the district’s central office, 1444 Old Highway 66 in Bourbon.

The selected board member will serve until the April 2019 election.
