O’Fallon Man Accused Of Assaulting Trooper At Hospital
An O’Fallon man has been charged after he allegedly attacked a Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper while being held at Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital on April 6.
The suspect has been charged with possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest, third-degree assault (special victim), driving without a license and two traffic violations.
Authorities were attempting to get a blood draw from the suspect, who allegedly pulled a trooper down and kicked him in the groin.
A Crawford County sheriff’s deputy grabbed the suspect by using a vascular neck restraint.
