Martin Addresses Commission On Septic System

Former District 1 Commissioner Richard Martin appeared Tuesday to address a septic system issue that has been lingering since Nov. 28.
Martin criticized current District 1 Commissioner Rob Cummings and a local newspaper for making him and his son-in-law “look bad” and the Crawford County Health Department for its role in a dispute between two property owners.
The commission is weighing whether to follow through on a $14,000 administrative penalty on Tammy Irvin, who was in violation of the septic system ordinance by hooking one system up to another one in existence.
