Leasburg Man Killed In Motorcycle Accident

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a Leasburg man was killed Sunday in a motorcycle accident on Highway JJ, a half mile south of Bourbon.
The accident occurred around 11 a.m.
Shawn Lafferty, 53, was traveling on a 2000 Suzuki Intruder when he traveled off the left side of the roadway, through a ditch and overturned.
Lafferty was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene by Deputy Coroner Nichole Gambling at 11:24 a.m. He was wearing a safety device.
